We spent a long weekend in the villa in October. Luxury not only in equipment (each room has its own bathroom – so it is suitable for a larger family or group), but also in atmosphere. A short walk to the crystal clear sea, private pool, sunsets. Nearby, the beautiful Royal Vineyard with wine tasting. Excursions to Zadar, Nin, Paklenica or the Krka waterfalls.

Staying in Villa Petrcane was a real holiday for us. The calming architecture of the property, the complete privacy for three families and the amenities better than one has at home 🙂 There is air conditioning everywhere, but we didn’t need it, which as asthmatics and allergy sufferers we appreciated. Evening swimming in the pool after a day in the sea was perfect. So did breakfast or dinner on the upper terrace overlooking the sea. After a very long time, the accommodation actually looked better than on the websites of prestigious travel and accommodation agencies. Thank you for the perfect service during the whole stay and we look forward to coming to Villa Petrcane again as soon as possible!

We arrived at one of the villas just after its completion in July 2022 with our two children. The first view was stunning and it was immediately clear that the architect had breathed beauty, flair and majesty into the villas from the outside, as if letting a gust of wind lean against them in a line perpendicular to the shore. The perfectly fitting façade of local stone echoed the century-old houses and cobblestones of the nearby historic centre of Zadar. Beautiful! The lush greenery of the irrigated garden caught our eye as we moved from the spacious, enclosed parking lot for several cars to the interior of the house.

Here we understood that the architect must have been very much in tune with the owners. The use of the best materials combined with generous spaces on the one hand, but at the same time with simple and clean lines on the other, gave us after a while a feeling of incredible well-being and balance. Each of the four double bedrooms, was actually a separate apartment with perfect facilities and the common generous living room connected to the kitchen and terrace offered enough space for more than 8 people. The crystal clear swimming pool with fully automatic maintenance at one time actually seemed like a given, which not only the children will immediately try.

Hard to decide then when to leave for the almost private entrance to the beautifully clear sea, just a few metres from the gate. If you like long sandy beaches or healing mud, you can walk about 20 minutes from the house. We found everything in the villas, in fact maybe more than we managed to try during our stay. I definitely recommend checking out the huge rooftop terrace where you can watch the sky full of stars or the twinkling lights of nearby Zadar after sunset.

But if you do feel like venturing away, you won’t even need a car to walk comfortably to the local promenade. Here, in addition to the beach and floating attractions, you’ll find excellent restaurants with friendly service. It doesn’t matter whether you’re being treated to a delicious pizza by the kids or a great fish delicacy. And on the way back to the incredibly quiet place where the villas are located, a stop at the ice cream stand is almost obligatory.

I could write for a long time, but better to experience them for yourself. We were delighted and highly recommend it.
